30x30: day 19. you and i

Today is Day 19 of the Our Lost Jungle Thirty-By-Thirty Challenge, a challenge designed to help writers and artists foster the habit of engaging in creativity regularly. Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, or other creative type, this challenge is for you.

Each day in June will feature a prompt to help inspire you. Take on the prompt, or follow your own creative path! Please feel free to share your work here, post links to your work on your own blog or website, or just follow along (and share your progress)!

day 19. "you and i"

Yesterday we broke up with things. Today, it's time to celebrate togetherness. Celebrate your relationship, partnership, or otherwise together-ship with someone (or something) important to you. Something you couldn't live without. It could be a person. It could be a song. It could be chocolate. Bake, sing, write, draw, sew, or in any way create something that represents the "us" of your "you and I."

Inspirational Quote: "In my mind we can conquer the world / In love / You and I ..." ~Stevie Wonder

  1. Okay, Khara, this is my second attempt to post this. Because I'd missed the last three prompts, I did a combined effort this morning and in Haiga, which is what I'm using this month for most of my poetry work. The first one used the exact words of the prompts, and the second haiga took those words and gave them intent.

Let me know if I managed to pull it off. Loving the challenge of trying to take arbitrary prompts for haiga use. Thanks so much.

    Mine are here. http://www.claudettejyoung.com/2014/06/home-combo-prompts-haiga/

Thank you so much for your comments! Please feel free to share your thoughts here; I look forward to engaging in conversation with you!
