30x30: day 15. sizzle

Today is Day 15 of the Our Lost Jungle Thirty-By-Thirty Challenge, a challenge designed to help writers and artists foster the habit of engaging in creativity regularly. Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, or other creative type, this challenge is for you.

Each day in June will feature a prompt to help inspire you. Take on the prompt, or follow your own creative path! Please feel free to share your work here, post links to your work on your own blog or website, or just follow along (and share your progress)!

day 15. sizzle

We're officially halfway through the month of June! Congrats to those who have followed and kept up with the challenge thus far, and good luck to those of you catching up, and to all as we make it through the second half of the month! For today's creative exercise, try to sizzle. Create something that sizzles off the page, in the ear, on the tongue, or before the eye. The body can sizzle as much as a dish on a plate. Sound can sizzle and snap and pop like fire when the right words come together. Even the blues can burn. So go on ... sizzle!

Inspirational Quote: "Sell the sizzle and not the steak." ~Elmer Wheeler
