30x30: day 20. blue

Today is Day 20 of the Our Lost Jungle Thirty-By-Thirty Challenge, a challenge designed to help writers and artists foster the habit of engaging in creativity regularly. Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, or other creative type, this challenge is for you.

Each day in June will feature a prompt to help inspire you. Take on the prompt, or follow your own creative path! Please feel free to share your work here, post links to your work on your own blog or website, or just follow along (and share your progress)!

day 20. blue

Today’s prompt is “blue.” Think of your favorite blue things. Or think of what it means to “feel blue.” What do you love about blue? What do you do when you’re blue? Think about the illusions of blue: the color of the sky or blueberries. Bake blue. Sing the blues. Write blue. Define it. Create it. Recreate it.

Inspirational Quote: “I need the shade of blue that rips your heart out. You don't see that type of blue around here.” ~Cath Crowley

Catch up with the 30x30 Challenge!

  1. Finally caught up, after helping my bff move, celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary and my dad's 70th bday, and then dealing with a nasty flu bug. Ugh.

  3. Fell back and finding my rut... groove. Who knew?
