30x30: day 17. destiny

Today is Day 17 of the Our Lost Jungle Thirty-By-Thirty Challenge, a challenge designed to help writers and artists foster the habit of engaging in creativity regularly. Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, or other creative type, this challenge is for you.

Each day in June will feature a prompt to help inspire you. Take on the prompt, or follow your own creative path! Please feel free to share your work here, post links to your work on your own blog or website, or just follow along (and share your progress)!

day 17. destiny

What is your destiny? What are you destined to do, or create, or be? Today’s prompt is simple and sweet: think of something you were destined to create (the perfect mac & cheese recipe, the greatest poem ever, the next Mona Lisa, the song that touches the world so deeply listeners have to stop it halfway through to keep from being wowed to death) … then create it.

Inspirational Quote: “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.” ~William Shakespeare
