30 March 2011

let the countdown begin...

I can't believe it's almost April already! That means National Poetry Month, one more month to work on my thesis, about a month left of classes both taken and taught, my birthday, and much, much more!

But I don't want to focus on that right now. Instead, I want to focus, once again, on the Thin Air Writing Challenge--especially since I decided to focus on it last night instead of getting a few more hours of beauty rest. In lieu of sleep, I opted to work on a challenge calendar for myself, with 30 days of prompts I can go with if I can't think of anything else to write. The fun bit of knowledge I have is that I'm not just doing the Thin Air challenge ... I'm also planning on doing the April PAD Challenge through Poetic Asides-- I'm not sure yet if that will mean 30 poems or 60 poems ... we shall see! Whether I go easy on myself and use the PA prompts to guide my TA challenge participation, or go hard and try to do each separately, it's going to be a fun month!

And now ... my 30 days of prompts for April!
